Optimicron® Pulp & Paper
The new HYDAC filter elements of the Optimicron® Pulp & Paper product range were developed for the use in paper machines. Typically these are used in classic lubrication applications such as dryer section and wet end as well as in the filter-cool-oil-circuit of the press section and calender. Thanks to their innovative features the new application-specific filter elements meet the typical requirements demanded by these applications:
- Micron rating: 5 µm
- Highly appropriate for the filtration of typical paper machine oils
- Significantly increased dirt holding capacity and therefore increased service life
- Low pressure drop and therefore energy and cost savings
- Appropriate for high flow volumes
- Reliable separation of gel-like substances such as e.g. reaction products due to additive instability of the oils (very critical with temperatures from 75°C)
FEATURES:
- Available in sizes 1300 and 2600
- Exclusive micro glass media – optimised for the use with typical paper machine oils.
- Strongly reduced differential pressure, thanks to the innovative HELIOS pleat geometry.
- Significantly increased dirt holding capacity and therefore strongly increased element service life.
- Innovative outer element wrap with increased robustness and improved diffusor- effect and therefore homogeneous flow of the filter mesh pack.
- Multi-colour Brand Labelling of customised filter elements possible
- Optionally available with Stat-Free® technology if critical oils with low conductivity are in use.
